Despite its relatively low market share, multimodal personal transportation is an important research subject. This form of transportation may play an important role in keeping our cities accessible and liveable. In addition, because of its behavioral and organizational complexities it deserves special attention from the transportation research community. These aspects were among the reasons launch a university-wide research program on this topic at Delft University of Technology under the name of Seamless Multimodal Mobility (SMM). This volume is one of a multitude of reports dedicated to outcomes of the SMM research program. Whereas most of the reports so far mainly are concerned with the supply side of multimodal transportation, that is with optimizing services, this report specifically deals with the demand site, that is with multimodal mobility of travelers, especially train users. The research reported in this volume has been carried out mainly by the author, Rogier Uges, in the course of his Master's Thesis research work.
