The All-In-One Guide to French Grammar.
The purpose of Essential French Grammar is to address the issue that French grammar is extraordinarily difficult to learn. This might simply be because it has been badly explained. In this book Grammar is approached the same way we would cross a gentle river in the sunny countryside: going cautiously forward, step by step, and avoiding the shard stones of complex definitions using seemingly barbaric jargon.
The book has two parts. The first part deals with nouns, articles, adjectives, pronouns, adverbs, prepositions and conjunctions. The second part concentrates on verbs, moods, tenses, speeches and voices.
The major points of grammar are reviewed in a comprehensible and concise way. A definition of every entry is provided, rules are clearly explained, exceptions are listed and, to add practicality to theory, plenty of examples are provided that illustrate each and every grammatical point.
So, either you are a shivering beginner throwing yourself for the first time into the icy water of French grammar or an old hand-cum-specialist who only needs a little brish up in the lukewarm puddle of French conjugation; we hope you will be equally satisfied.
