Deirdre N. Fulton examined in this study, the differences between the MT and the LXX texts of Nehemiah 11-12. It portrays Judas reconstruction by focusing on the people who settled in Jerusalem, on the list of settlements in Judah, a list of the temple servants and the story of initiation and procession around the walls of Jerusalem. In this systematically structured study the author analyzes the textual variations and changes that went through this chapter over time. While both traditions Nehemiah 11-12 situate in Judah at the time of the Persian Empire, showing the deviations of the texts between MT and LXX that there were deliberate changes that were made at the time of Hellenism.
