This book is about CEO transformation. It's about the journey these CEOs took as they started and grew their companies. The stories were told by the CEOs, as they took a video tape of the past, painted a picture of the present, and portrayed a portrait of the future.

Therefore, these stories are autobiographical in nature. It's about how CEOs learn and transform in a community of CEOs. It's about life-on-life encounters, CEOs from different industries getting together regularly with no vested interest except to help each other grow. Though some issues are industry specifics, but these CEOs can empathize with each other's challenges as only those at the top can. TEC is a platform that brings groups of CEOs from different industries together with the intent of improving their effectiveness and enhancing their personal lives.

We will see how the TEC process brings CEOs together in groups and on one-on-one sessions to deliberate issues and learn from each other. We will see how the CEOs build trust and develop community, so that it need not be lonely at the top. We will see how these CEOs became not only more effective in their role as CEOs, but also how their personal lives has been enhanced.
